Card issuer policies: Some issuers enforce temporary lockouts after several consecutive failed attempts.
Inform the customer that too many recent attempts with their card have been declined.
Ask the customer to:
Wait for some time before attempting the transaction again.
Use an alternative payment method, such as a different card, wallet, or UPI.
Contact their card issuer to check if additional security measures are being applied.
If smart dunning is enabled with the normal_retry scenario, allow your system to automatically retry the transaction later.
