Troubleshooting and Solutions

  • Inform the customer that a temporary issue prevented their payment from being processed.

  • Ask the customer to:

    • Retry the transaction after a short wait.

    • Ensure they have a stable internet connection while retrying.

    • Use an alternate payment method if the problem persists.

  • Configure smart retries in your system to attempt the transaction every alternate day as per the retry_alternate_days scenario.

  • Monitor the payment gateway's status dashboard (if available) for any ongoing service interruptions or maintenance notifications.
